Over the years, Sweden has developed several areas of excellence and strength, such as oncology, neuroscience, pharma development, and more recently precision medicine. Swecare has chosen to focus on five thematic areas, which are considered areas of strength for both Swedish healthcare and solutions offered by Swedish companies, at the same time representing major global challenges. All displayed in one unique platform.
In order to make both Swecare's members and Swedish areas of strength visible, Swecare has developed a "digital member platform" where the visitor can familiarize himself with Swedish life science on an overall level and then more specifically with Swecare's five thematic areas and Swecare's members. Inside the thematic "rooms", the visitor can learn about Sweden's strengths and the global challenge within the particular area and which of Swecare's members are active. In addition, there are statistics, short videos, publications or reports by relevant actors. The platform can easily be shared via a QR code and can also be displayed on a touch screen. The project was visualized for the first time during Expo 2020 Dubai in February 2022 and the platform is in English.
